Laddie and his wife, Shelley hold a strong belief in actively contributing to and supporting the community where they live and work. In 2006, they initiated something truly special. They believe that every child has a unique story to tell, stories that can bring a smile to your face or move you to tears. With this as motivation, they started an initiative called TLC@Home (Touching Lives of Children at Home)
TLC@Home is dedicated to providing shoebox gifts to children in various participating schools across Saskatoon. The journey began with just a few classes in a single school, and over the years, they have continued to expand the number of children we reach annually. In 2014, with the invaluable support of our community partners, Hairstyle Inn Salon, and kind-hearted individuals and local businesses, they extended their outreach to encompass five schools, delivering personalized gift boxes to just under 1000 children.
